Good course, would like more intermediate stuff, August 20, 2007
Reviewer: Matt Leahy from Sammamish, WA USA
The Jamorama course is truly a good value. The strumming patterns and the timing demonstrations have been very helpful to me. I'm an intermediate level guitarist, but I am planning on working through this course a 2nd time.
I did notice one lesson where the video and the TAB were slightly different, but overall the quality is good.
The bonus material you get with this is also of value. One of them helps you to learn to sight read music quickly and another of them helps you to train your ear.

Jamorama was a good course with a lot of value. For the price, it will be hard to beat. Ben is a good instructor and has created a solid course for the beginner. Out of all the courses I've tried, and there has been a few...this is one of the good ones. My only complaint is that it just doesn't go far enough. I felt like there could have been a few more lessons aimed at intermediate players. All in all, this is a great value course for people starting out with the guitar.

Jamorama Maestro, May 25, 2007
Reviewer: James M. Harrison from Columbus, OH
This is an awesome, 2-level introductory course. With the impressive visuals (including 3-view-at-once videos), slick interface, and generous extra programs and tools, it's hard to beat Jamorama Maestro for beginning instruction or "correcting" bad basics.

Jamorama First course, May 23, 2007
Reviewer: Bede from USA
I bought the first course of Jamorama and was totally satisfied, I think the extras were great, such as note finder , and some of the other ones chord finder ect. its been a while. I think well worth the money, alot of information. The only negative was the riffs songs ect. were a little lame, more geared for very Yong , like children. But, I think it did state a beginners course. Not allot of money for a good amount of information

Jamorama - Ben Edwards, May 23, 2007

I purchased the course a year ago and didn't really get involved in it until after i received my first update. I began looking at the course differently and when I downloaded it to my desktop and began "playing" along with the lessons I really got into the course. I was in a band in the late 60's and played alot but other responsibilities took priority and the band folded. I played on and off over the years but I got an incredible urge to start up again recently and bought this course. The course has taught me alot and when playing with the lessons it is like playing with another person or two. The videos are easy to follow and I have found my fingering and speed have improved. I expect the process to continue. In a nutshell, this course is great for someone who doesn't have time or patience to learn all the theory of music but wants to just get down and play.

I love this course it teaches you step by step the most commonly used chords in rock music using closeup streaming video for every lesson.(rythmn and strumming patterns)
At the end of most lessons which start from beginners to advanced you learn to play with a band using jamtrax complete with tab where you either mute or listen to the guitar parts to give you a basic understanding of how the rythmn sounds and a real feel to develope your timing.
There is alot of valuable information here to help you learn at your own pace and to get you playing right away!!
This is a must have course!!

Very well done course, easy to follow along with. The book includes musical notations with tabs and refers to video clips for additional donkeyistance when necessary. Highly recommended for beginers and intermediates or those who wish to brush up on their musical theory.
