This course really wasn't that amazing to me. Actually, it really didn't help me at all. I've been playing guitar for about 5 years, and I thought this course could help open up my playing, but it was just a waste of money.

I bought this course over a year ago and still go back to it quite often. This is like a guitar cookbook, you may be a great cook, but sometimes you have to review the recipes. The course is so well layed out that it can be used as a resource as much as a course. I've tried a lot of guitar courses over the years, taken lessons from professional musicians, and hit nearly every guitar instruction website out there. Jamoramma is good, but not as thourough as this. I found Dan's course to be the easiest to follow, and most comprehensive instruction manual out there. This is not some learn guitar in an evening course--there is simply too much here to learn! Dan does reaveal the secrets to learning the guitar, and you'll be surprised when you find them for yourself. I've also tried a lot of guitar instruction software and dvd tutorials, but they just don't fill the gaps the way Dan has done. This is a solid learning tool...Dan's instructions are clear, well planned and organized to lead a player by the hand. The exercises will strengthen your fingers and increase dexterity very soon after starting. I've played guitar a lot of years now, and used Amazing Guitar Secrets as a refresher, and a "get out of the rut" tool, I found that there was a lot more to learn than what I had thought. I would recommend this course to any beginner who has a desire to really learn the guitar, and to intermediate players (practicing musicians) who need a push, or need some gaps filled. Dan's course is great.

This course is one of THE basic places any self-instructed guitarist should start. Comprehensive and easy to understand, just add discipline and you're a guitarist!

I purchased Dan's Course over a year ago, maybe two years ago when it first came out/then got an update. The course is very comprehensive and covers a great deal of information concerning the "mechanics" of music as well as important insights into practicing and mastering various guitar exercises.

If you use this course you are going to learn about scales, intervals and basic music theory. In short, if you apply yourself, you are going to learn a great deal about the guitar and how to make music. You will learn how to master the fretboard and how to play the same notes in 7 different locations.

An excellent course for climbing out of a rut. I would say it is geared for the serious beginner as well as the seasoned player. A wonderful resource of information that doesn't go out of style. Dan, also provides timely E-tutorials.

I have to say both courses are wonderful, very detailed, and easy to follow one step at a time. The blues course I spent a lot of time on. The guitar secrets I didn't have that much time; have to work you know. A little background. I haven't had any formal lessons just friends and the internet. Started playing 2 years ago. Really just wanted these chords to sound like a song. Dans courses really helped. I didn't waste my money. Sometime in the near future I will work on the theory. But for know I can sit down and play with the blues channel on xm any ol time. Thanks

It's a comprehensive study of guitar. The course is packed with information and it's so clearly explained. The Progress Tracker is excellent. It truly helps you see where you are, where you're going and how to accomplish your goals. The DVD's expound on the material in the individual books and it's just a great course. I highly recommend it.

Great course for learning the "Nuts and Bolts" of guitar. I highly recommend this course. The books are well laid out and the video are professionally done. The course is easy to follow. Dan also provides e-mail newsletters and support after the sale for additional learning. Keep up the great work Dan!

I purchased these recently and started working them a few weeks ago. I have gotten more onfo from these courses than anything else I've ever tried. He dosen't go over my head with useless information. I've been able to understand what he says in the dvd's, and apply it almost immediatley. I recommend these courses to anyone that want to learn more.

Dan's Amazing Guitar Secrets course is very well put together, it is easy to follow and understand with watching the videos and the book to follow as well. The course has taken my guitar playing to a whole new level with just what Dan asks, practice and patience. GREAT work Dan

dan puts it all together here. he has beginner to advanced. from chords to modes. i learned tons from the modes-major/minors/penetonics/jazz modes section. and the key signature section is loaded with must know material. dan dont stop after you buy his course he sends out emails with more lessons yet and has a lesson web site as well. his follow up with students is bar none. should be called amazing guitar teacher course, cause if you dont learn from dan -you dont learn. excellent courses thanks dan ...
