5 Stars POD XT Live Floor Model, July 11, 2007
Reviewer: Tom Benton Sr from Wilmington, Delaware U.S.A.

I find this to be very sturdy. With an online subscription the sound effects configurations are almost endless. Plus you have acess to lessons and tones others have come up with. Ther is a groove section with loads of drum loops at many different tempos. You can even load a cd and jam witth it. With or without lead and rythm guitar. You can play with just drums, drums+rythm, drums+lead, you can insert yourself right into the band of your choice. It will even proivide you with the music and tab. Has a mentronome you can configure with a simple click or a more comeplex drum beat with several presets to pick from. Every moth they have new and never ending sounds and lessons and you can request your favorite guitarist, band, or song. I on it, use it, love it. Buy it you can't go wrong.

4 Stars Line 6 Pod XT Live, May 23, 2007
Reviewer: Emery from Canada, Manitoba

i enjoy my podxt live very much, it has a ton of preset tones and you have room to save a bunch that you come up with, the only problem i had was the wah pedal sqeecked but a little shot of oil cured that. I think i would purchase a podxt live again, but i would probably go with something different first, you know experiment a bit with other brands. I would recomend this product to any guitarist, it'll bring you into a whole new world of tonal aptions.

4.5 Stars Line6 POD XT Live for Guitar and Bass, May 23, 2007
Reviewer: John from Topton, PA

I own both PODxt Live models, and they're very similar except for the orientation toward guitar or bass, so I'll combine the reviews here. There are only two reasons I rate this box less than 5 stars: it doesn't have a drum machine onboard, and it requires a monster amp if you use it on stage and not through the PA. The drum machine would be way cool for home recording, but it's really a very minor deal that it doesn't have one. The amount of power it takes to amplify the thing properly is another story. I've not gigged with the guitar version yet, but did two gigs with the bass version. The third gig, I left it home because I have a 100W SWR bass amp and the PODxt Live sucked the life right out of it. I had the amp and the POD cranked and had trouble being heard over a moderate volume 5-piece band. Running my bass directly into the amp I was able to keep the amp on half volume and be easily heard. Bottom line: don't gig with one of these unless you've got a serious amp, or you're going to run it through the PA. Even running it through the PA might pose a problem if the PA isn't a fairly large one, but I can't speak directly to that not having tried it. As for features, it has tons including many presets, plenty of room for custom presets, and most important, it sounds fantastic. The modeling is excellent, as you'd expect from the folks who pretty much invented it. Quality is excellent. The Line6 software is way cool and interacts with the POD very well. It even has settings and inputs specifically for the Variax series of instruments. Highly recommended, as long as you're adequately powered.

5 Stars Line 6 Pod 2.0, May 23, 2007
Reviewer: Candi from Texas

i have a Line 6 Pod 2.0 i would recommend it for anyone who wants an amazing guitar sound. If you want a jaw dropping sound get Altec Lansing Speakers for surround sound. Its so good i got another as backup in case anything happened to mine. The best feature i like is you can run the Pod into your computer and have an entire effects library!
