Crate 120 Flexwave Halfstack, June 27, 2010
Reviewer: Tiger from Providence, RI
I have owned my Crate’s for about ten years. I own three Crate guitar amplifiers, they all work great. 120 Flexwave combo, 120 Flexwave half stack, 150 Block. For the money, I don't think you could buy a better amp. They do everything thing I want them to do. They still look like brand new. To this very day I have never had the volume all the way up. Half volume is outrageous. In my book, American made Crate is great.

Crate Palomino 50 Class A/B Tube Amplifier, June 01, 2007
Reviewer: PJC1221 from Vero Beach, Florida
The palomino series is made specifically for Guitar Center stores and similar to the V series but instead of black is colored off white or Palomino. Its 50 watts with 2 channels and 2-12 inch Celestron Speakers. The sound is very warm and quite loud for a price one half the amount of a comparable Fender or Mesa Boogie. Due to the weight (62 lbs) I would suggest casters for easy movement. I believe it is good quality for the money.

Crate GT212 Amp, May 24, 2007

Great beginner amp, good clean channel, plenty of volume for jamming with the band, pretty good rythym and lead distortion. Just a good basic inexpensive amp.

Crate GLX15 guitar Amplifier, May 23, 2007
Reviewer: Jim mingo from Canada
I bought my Crate about 2 months. It is 15 watts, it also has the solo feature gain and level, also equalization low,mid and high. I like the DSP feature the most because of all the different modes I can select. It's not that large and easy to take anywhere Also the sound quality is pretty good and it will rattle your windows. I would recommend this amp to anyone looking for a inexpensive amp that sounds like the more expensive ones.

Crate GX-140CH, May 23, 2007

140 watt boat anchor. It is an old amp but produces a good sound. I put it through a 4X12 Cab and get all the drive I need.
It has a good clean channel, however not much on distortion. It seems to go into saturation to fast and sounds like noise.
To stay away from that I use a Ibanez Tube Screamer and it works out pretty nice.

Good Sound excellent practice amp possibly small room settings, not sure if it would have the umph needed for Bigger Gigs. (Like I do gigs, I'm just a raw beginner with to many instructors)

A pretty nice smaller amp. I think they could have done with fewer options to use for sound settings. Not sure who might use some of them. But for a low priced amp it does a fair job.
The clean channel does a good job.
